Therapy Fees

Our services are covered by many employer health care plans. Our team can help you with any claim forms.

Alberta Health Services Coverage

The provincial government and Alberta Health Services (AHS) have recently changed their funding for physiotherapy assessments and treatments. This includes changes to:

  • Funded visits under the Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP)
  • Those with low-income status
  • Those who have had surgery or suffered a fracture

Unfortunately, we were not awarded a contract and therefore no longer offer AHS funded visits. However, we still accept benefit plan payments! Most employee benefit plans cover physiotherapy and rehabilitation service so be sure to check if this applies to you.

Benefit Plans

We are pleased to accept cash, cheques, Debit, Visa, or MasterCard. We are able to provide Direct Billing for ASEBP (Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan) card holders, Blue Cross, most Sunlife and Great West Life and many other benefit plans.

While we do not require a doctor’s referral for treatment, some benefit providers may ask you to obtain one before reimbursing treatment costs.

We are happy to provide receipts and all relevant information to submit to your benefits provider.

Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance

If your injury is the result of a motor vehicle accident, we can assist you in the completion of the necessary forms and direct-bill the insurance company at no cost to you.

Please schedule your first appointment within ten days of the accident, and bring your insurance adjuster’s contact name, phone number and fax number.

Physiotherapy Cost

Assessment:

  • $120.00
  • $105.00 for seniors (65 years +)

Follow-up Visits:

  • $90.00 per visit
  • $85.00 per seniors visit (65 years +)

Out of Protocol MVA Assessment Fee:

  • $130.00

Out of Protocol MVA Treatment Fee:

  • $110.00 per visit

Acupuncture & IMS Cost

Acupuncture and IMS costs are the same as physiotherapy costs (see above).

Shockwave Therapy Cost

(combined with Physiotherapy Treatment)

Assessment & Follow-up Visits:

  • $120.00 for treatment of one body part/injury
  • $180.00 for treatment of two body parts/injuries

Massage Therapy Cost

  • $65.00 for 30 minutes
  • $100.00 for 60 minutes
  • $145.00 for 90 minutes
