Education

Qualifications & Courses

Ryan brings a diverse background with experience in various roles, including:

  • Pediatric Research Assistant at UBC in Okanagan
  • Kinesiologist in Edmonton, helping enhance physical well-being through exercise and movement
  • Internships in several private clinics, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a range of settings

Specialties

Ryan specializes in treating sports-related injuries, from assisting weekend warriors to high-level athletes. He knows what it takes to recover from an injury because he’s been there himself! As a senior A men’s lacrosse player, a football enthusiast who attended a BC Lions training camp, and a participant in various powerlifting competitions, he’s got a deep understanding of the challenges and demands faced by athletes.

Interests

When he’s not helping people recover from injuries, he enjoys cozying up to his two cats, Charles and Suzie who are envious when he orders his favourite meal of Sushi. Although he misses the lakes and mountains of Victoria and Penticton, he has made Alberta his new home. Ryan also has family in the UK, who he likes to visit as much as he can.
