Katherine Hayashi, BScPT

Physiotherapist

Kathy is a well-seasoned Physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience. Many of those years were spent working in a private practice setting with clients who have suffered from sports injuries, soft tissue injuries from motor vehicle accidents, post-surgical issues, tendonitis, everyday aches and pains and chronic pain conditions.

Kathy studied acupuncture under the world renowned Dr. Aung and finds great success in combining the best of traditional Chinese medicine with Physiotherapy to get her patients back to active living right away.

Continuing education is very important for Kathy. To name a few, she has taken courses in advanced orthopedic assessment and treatment, TMJ Disorders, myofascial release and “Kinesiotaping.” She continues to strive to give her clients the absolute best chance of returning to a life free of pain.

Beyond the walls of the clinic she is dedicated to helping others and has worked with rugby teams, judo athletes, teaching disabled skiers, lecturing at the Running Room in the Learn to Run programs and has helped fundraise for the Arthritis Society.

When she is not working or helping others, you’ll find Kathy and her husband enjoying the outdoors, running, biking and golfing.
